In her nearly 30 years of newspaper, magazine, and book-writing and editing experience Marks has chronicled many business and consumer successes, failures, innovations, and changes. She’s helped all kinds of people deliver their messages and tell their stories in ways that all of us can easily understand. Her work has received awards and recognition from local, regional, and national professional and industry organizations.

Prior to full-time freelancing, Marks spent more than a dozen years with The Denver Post, primarily as Sunday Business Editor and Special Projects Editor/Business. She’s also held a variety of editing, reporting, writing, and consulting positions at newspapers and organizations across the country and the Pacific--from Guam to Louisiana, Florida, Indiana, and Illinois.
